Visit

Come dig in. We are in Highland.

Questions people ask before their first visit, and how to find us. We are by appointment only. First, though, there is a fossil buried below.

Questions people ask.

Do you take walk-ins?

No, grooming is by appointment only. Book online or give us a call first, so there is a spot on the table and someone there to meet you.

How long does a groom take?

Most grooms take one to three hours, depending on the size of the dog, the coat and the haircut. We will give you a time when you drop off and call when they are ready.

My dog is nervous, or getting older. Is that okay?

Tell us when you book. We go slow, take breaks, and keep the dryer low for dogs who do not love it. Older dogs with stiff joints get a softer spot on the table.

How often should my dog be groomed?

Curly and long coats usually do best every four to eight weeks so mats never get started. Short and double coats can go longer, with a de-shed in spring and fall.

What should I bring?

Your dog, their leash and their shot records on the first visit. A photo of a haircut you like helps a lot too.

Can I stay and watch?

Most dogs settle faster when their people are out of sight, so we usually ask you to drop off. Puppies on their first visit are the exception.
